Where this began
We started Video Maker HQ the way a good meal starts on a terrace at noon — unhurried, with a few honest ingredients. There was no manifesto, only the quiet belief that recommendations should feel like a friend's, not a feed's. So we set a long table and began.
How we work
Every piece of writing here is slow-cooked. We test what we recommend, set it aside for a day, then come back with a clearer eye. If something doesn't earn its place, we let it go — there's no shortage of mediocre options shouting for attention online, and no reason to add to the noise.
What we believe
Good tools should feel like good light: warm, generous, easy to live with. We hold our picks to that standard. When a product earns the recommendation, we say so plainly. When it doesn't, we say that too, and we explain why. Trust is built one small honest sentence at a time.
